CLASS SCHEDULE

Beginning Piecing:  If you would like to learn to quilt, join this class and learn the basics while making a throw size quilt top.  Pattern required.

Tuesdays, April 22, 29 & May 6                10 am – 2 pm             Cost: $30

Paper Piecing:  The technique of sewing fabric pieces to a paper foundation drawing allows you to make accurate blocks easily!  You will learn “tricks of the trade” as you sew several blocks together.   This is a good class for beginners or advanced quilters.  Simply Sensational 9-Patch Stars book required.

Wednesday, April 30                                  10 am – 2 pm             Cost:  $15

Saturday, May 3                                           9 am – 1 pm               Cost:  $15

Carpenter’s Wheel:  This is a simple quilt that makes a bold statement.   The 60” square quilt can be used as a wall hanging or a throw.  Willow Creek book required.

Wednesday, May 7                                      10 am – 2 pm             Cost:  $15

Saturday, May 10                                         9 am – 1 pm               Cost:   $15

PMS (Potluck, Munchies & Sewing):  Bring potluck, snacks and a quilting project to work on.  Enjoy a day of friendship and sewing with other quilters.

Wednesday, May 14                                                10 am – 3 pm             Sit Fee:  $7

Steamer Trunk Treasure:   An easy quilt made from fat quarters.  Pattern required.

Wednesday, May 21                                                10 am – 2 pm             Cost:  $15

Tennessee Waltz:  Advanced quilters will enjoy this traditional pattern with the illusion of curved piecing.  Additional classes will be scheduled if needed.  A book and ruler are required.

Saturday, May 24                                         9 am – 3 pm               Cost:  $15                                          

5th Saturday Club

There a 4 months a year that have 5 Saturdays.  On the 5^th Saturday, items that fit in the 5^th Saturday Club shopping bag will be on sale at 25% off the normal retail price.  Visit the shoppe to get the complete details and join the club to take advantage of this sale.

                                         One time membership fee:  $8

Class Policies:

Registration for classes must be made one week prior to class.  Class fee is to be paid at the time you register for a class.  Your place in class is not reserved until the fee is paid.  You will be given a supply list when you register.

Supplies must be purchased at Stitchery Quilt Shoppe.

We require books or patterns for each student because of copyright laws.

All classes require a sewing machine in good working order.  You must be familiar with your machine.

If a class is cancelled due to weather conditions, you will be notified of the cancellation.  If the class can’t be rescheduled, the class fee will be refunded.  If you cancel prior to class, you will be given a shoppe credit.  Class fees are non-refundable if you cancel.

Sorry but children may not accompany adults to class.
